Jottings from a trip in 2661 from MS to SVPR - the joy of observing crossings, either watching from a loop or watching AC coach lights flying away in a whizz, it has to be experienced...

Scheduled departure time of 2050. Dot departure at MS. Power was WDP-3A #15515 GOC.

22618 ED crossed in B line at MBM with 6128 Koodal. 2664 crossed somewhere near CTM in Up line. 17363 GOC SHF + 17519 GOC NHF with BOXN load waited at MYP in west loop. 2661 stopped here @ 2315/2325. 2665 was overtaken at VM - he was in Road 3, 2661 was received in Road 1 - 2335/2345. 2665 got 17674 GOC LHF + 14670 GOC LHF. PA for 2631 to be received in Road 2 with 20068 SHF ready in loco loop.

KDMD 2355 hrs / 170 km post, TVNL 0004/178, PRKL 0010/187, ULU 0015/198, MPLY 0020/204, PVN 0025/210 with 16868 GOC SHF / 2298 in the east loop, VRI 0032-0034/217 - received in while 18576 ERS SHF was rolling out TEN-MS Spl. 16858 GOC was with SA Pass in SA end while 12044 UBL LHF was in VRI end of the same rake, 11149 ED LHF on MS end light was in the yard lines.

TLNR 0044-0050/226 received in east loop, 11*** 3D LHF crossed with 6178 Rocky, ICG 0101/242 11*** 3D SHF was waiting in west loop with 6108, MTUR 0113-0119/245 received in west loop while 2638 was brought in main line by 20057 KJM LHF, SNDI 0124-0130/254 received in west loop while 2632 that was waiting in Home was despatched throught main line with 20054 KJM LHF, OTK 0138/262, ALU 0145 - 0151/271 received in west loop while 18787 ED LHF passed through main line with 6102 Boat mail, SLTH 0158/277, KLGM 0205-0207/285 brief stop at Home to allow receipt of 2634 in east loop, 0209/286 - 2634 - 11206 ED SHF, KKPM 0215/295, PMB 0220/300 16869 GOC was waiting in east loop with 2662, KTTR 0226/308, LLI 0233-0237/314 received in west loop to allow 2694 with dp3a, VLDE 0244/320, SRGM 0250/329, TPTN 0253/332 - 17570 TNP SHF was waiting in west loop with 6124, GOC 0301/337 - 6714 was waiting in north loop with 18535 ED SHF, TPJ 0310-0320/340 15519 GOC had brought in ED Pass was in TPJ end of Pf 1A 17544 MHF MS end + 16879 LHF idling in Road 2 2668 was in Road 1 with a GOC dm2 LHF. Wrap up of crossings!!

I was awake till DG, had a small nap from KQN to KON. Got up to specifically see Vaigai river!! Chill breeze kept me awake until SVPR - the charm of early morning sun's rays piercing through mist to lit the SVPR temple Gopuram has to be witnessed to be enjoyed :)
